Has anyone had any experience at this place? Do we need to bring our own tents?

There are apps that apparently cause your cell phone to emit ultrasonic frequencies that mimic dragonfly and male mosquito sounds. Never tried those however I have bought Battery powered ones (Meritline about $1 or so when onsale and also eBay) and they seem to do what they claim. Just make sure you stock/bring enough replacement batteries with you :D:lol:

uhhh so is this place any good? i've seen some really awful private campgrounds while driving near algonquin. essentially 0 privacy, your tent being crammed about 3 feet next to somebody else's tent. fine for a music festival but not a place i'd want to bring my family to...

I thought referral links were banned from RFD?

I thought referral links were banned from RFD?

That's because its not a referral code. Its a promo code/link for those that bought the Samtack Kijiji Deals of the Day last week. (I can provide a photo of the actual voucher that has the promo link if needed/requested)

I can't find the $29 from the given link. Did I miss it? Or do I need a promo code?

When you add the deal to your cart it will automatically deduct $10.

Read the 1st post. You have to choose "York Region" area (Default is just "Canada") in order to see the deal.

I've never stayed here, but I just want to point out that in order to use Algonquin, you need to pay an additional $16/day per car for day use - so you can add an additional $32 to your charge here if you plan on going into any of the provincial parks in the area on two of those days. Conversely, if you just book a campsite inside Algonquin, you'd pay about $90 total for two nights which includes the day use fee. Personally, I'd pay the extra money and camp inside the park.
