I would suggest keeping it to RFD because the more people you have to deal with, the more hassles. I am sure you will hit the $500 level easily (if not already). If you can negociate a higher discount based on a lot more $$ spent then go for it.

Sorry maybe I haven't made myself clear. For the main pick up, it can be anywhere along 401 between Milton and Scarborough or along 404 between 401/elgin mills. We'll pick one location/time for the main pick up.

i have read that the 7424xp struggles with the 6.5" foam pads loaded with product and that its better to go with 5.5"... so thats why I have gone with the 5.5" LC pads for mine. I would have rather gone with the 6.5" foam pads because my PC already came with a 6" backing plate... oh well.

yes, Meg's MF discs will work with the PC.

the size of the BP depends on the size of the MF discs you get, or vice versa.

if you get the 5" disc you will need the W67DA BP.

Can someone help me with an order, I'm a newbie - only ever washed my car with my old man, that was with a garden hose, a sponge and dawn. Didn't even know car wax existed until a few years ago.

I have a relatively new car which I would like to wash and polish (with a synthetic sealant and then with a wax onto which i've read is the best way) and a older car with some swirl marks which I would like to do the same.

What should I order - I have nothing at the moment (not even a bucket).

- you will need towels to remove polish and wax, so which ever ones you decide to buy, get plenty of them. same with pads, you don't want to try and correct an entire car with 1 pad, it'll gum up and you'll have to stop and clean, better to have a few to switch out and continue with the task.

SONAX Wheel Cleaner Full Effect (16.9oz) - how often are you looking to clean the wheels and what make/model is the vehicle? this size will do about 8-12 rims, so maybe 3 cleaning sessions for 1 car

-the thing with products is that there are so many to choose from and it's based on personal preference and experience and comfort with the brand/product. the only large variation comes in the area of pads and polishes. get a wide range so you are not limited in your combinations.

I was hoping the 20% would at least be applied to the kit pricing. On other forums, their standard eshine 10% discount is stacked ontop of kit pricing, however also excludes BOGO, power tools, extractors & sale items.

Tomorrow I will go over the invoice and find what we are backordered on. I will then give a list of the backordered items for any shortages along with the date when we will receive the items. It is then up to the group if they would like to wait for delete the items from the group buy.

I also wanted to mention that there is a good chance I will send one of my employees to deliver this order as it is over 400 pounds. As long as out of stock items do not hold up the order this week should be no problem.

no problem.

for me, it's the most enjoyable part of washing a vehicle. brings a smile to my face every time. it's fun!

the foam bath soaks the car and dwells on the dirt and debris. loosens it up, also can strip the vehicle clean of lsp.

sometimes when i don't want to do a hand wash on my own vehicle, i'll rinse and foam and rinse again. gets almost every large dirt patch off the car, this is just for in between maintenance washes. it ain't gonna clean the vehicle as good as a hnad wash, but it will suffice for me when i have light soiling on the exterior.

cannon and pw takes longer to setup and put away compared to gun and garden hose, even with quick connects.

I just spoke to Chris and here is the latest...
Some of the collinite was shipped but there is still some owing. They'll probably get these by next week. The fireman nozzel will also be in stock by next week. The nice zymol sponges (yellow ones) will be coming in about 2 weeks. I forgot to ask about the 105/205 though but hopefully everything will be shipped and done with by the end of June.
I think the fireman nozzel that eshine carries is a little different than the CT one. If I remember correctly the eshine one has a really cool lever as the on off trigger.

I just spoke to Chris and here is the latest...
Some of the collinite was shipped but there is still some owing. They'll probably get these by next week. The fireman nozzel will also be in stock by next week. The nice zymol sponges (yellow ones) will be coming in about 2 weeks. I forgot to ask about the 105/205 though but hopefully everything will be shipped and done with by the end of June.
I think the fireman nozzel that eshine carries is a little different than the CT one. If I remember correctly the eshine one has a really cool lever as the on off trigger.

I will never deal with e-shine again. The fact that I e-mailed them and they were responsive right up until they got their money, then never replied to a single email again says a lot. When I e-mailed them from a different email account, he started to respond once again, however at the very same time when I would email about the RFD group buy with regards to the backorder, not a single response. Says a lot about them.
