I keep on seeing these deals for NuMe hair appliances and extensions where they are charging $20-25 for a $125 credit for products.

The thing that annoys me is that the same company has also been GIVING AWAY $100 codes to many people where it is written that it is one use per customer and once per transaction.
It is not like a individual code, but a coupon code you can find online and that someone gave me on a postcard.

The rules for the deal are only on hair appliances and hair extensions. I tried to use the code on their "feather" colored extensions and it does not work for those. only the $200 extensions.

The code I have is : NUME100 and expires Aug 31, 2012

Hopefully this saves someone the extra $20-25!

Even with the $100 off, don't bother buying styling tools from Nume. They only post good reviews on their own site for their products but they are HORRIBLE.

I have a straightener iron from there that is awful. It PULLS hair out, leaves hair dry & looking damaged. I'm glad I only paid $87 for the flat iron, curling wand (which I haven't tried), heat pouch (which doesn't hold the flat iron & is pretty much useless), comb & shampoo/conditioner with shipping to USA. That package was supposed to be "worth" $425. I think the flat iron is actually worth about $25.... but only because it is dual voltage & I can take it on vacation & not care if I 'forget' it.

Also, Canadians beware, the shipping costs around $30 & they will put the FULL value on your goods so expect to pay a good $30-50 when it gets to your door!

Thanks for the review!
I was not planning on getting something there.

I already have a professional dryer, 2 hair irons...just need a curling iron as mine was stolen.
How were the hair products though? were they at least better than drugstore stuff (I do like Pantene ice shine....).

I actually got some of their colored hair extensions in a beauty box I subscribe to.
Not too impressed with those.
They are pretty much impossible to put in yourself and come with no threading tools.
And the colors they have are all neon too- so not really suitable for office or anything.
-and the little crimp beads they include are not attached to the hair extension, so trying to get the bead in your hair, then the extension and use pliers to close the bead....really hard to do.

For colored hair extensions I bought Picasso brand and they attach the bead to the hair so it takes one person around 1 minute to do and can be done by yourself.

Since NuMe declared the value wrong, you can go to the CRA? or tax dept and fill out a form with your proofs and they will refund you the amount.
Kind of annoying to do,but you can print the forms from online I think.

Before I forget,I saw they were selling NuMe at some stands in the malls here now.
