could anyone comment on this deal, it seems to be really good deal compared to other US sites that all sell it for around 300$, too good to be true?

I'd focus less on the product, and more on the vendor (shoplessproducts.com).

Domain servers in listed order:

While not definitive, these guys don't have enough of a track record that I'd feel safe buying from them, and the deal sites don't do the kind of due dilligence they really should before signing up a new vendor.

"Should the merchant associated with this deal choose to not fulfil orders, DealTicker will ensure that all customers who have purchased the deal will be reimbursed for the amount paid for this voucher"

If this is true I wouldn't worry too much..

That's a big "if".

We've seen other deal sites (some big "reputable" ones included) renege on that kind of guarantee, or stall until people gave up.

The more they have to refund, the less likely they'll make it easy for you.

You could easily sell these on ebay for near double

http://www.ebay.ca/itm/Cuisinart-FP-14DC-Elite-Collection-14-Cup-Food-Processor-Die-Cast-/330685253967?pt=Small_Kitchen_Appliances_US&hash=item4cfe60894f

While paying a very low fee to do it. And why would an american place promote this to canada when these would sell rapidly at a higher price?

So I'd be very suspect on why someone would offer this on dealticker, known to be among the worst deal sites. THe vendor has fancier website then most of these "guy in his apartment" deals but its still obvious they aren't doing any sales from it. No address shown.

I believe you are reading it wrong. The address listed does not necessarily mean that the company is based there. The Drums, PA address is simply the office address of Network Solutions, with whom the domain was registered. According to the website, they are based in Burnaby, BC. This jives with the hours of operation listed (in PST), although I suppose anyone can put any address, etc. up on a website if they want to intentionally scam someone. I guess those interested could give them a call at the number provided.

It wasn't the address I highlighted.

Avoid DealTicker if you know what's good for you. They showed their true colours in the Gladius scam.

I searched for the scam and apparently it seems like there was some sort of scam but I understand they refunded the buyers?

Maybe this is a imitation Cuisinartt? and it just looks like the one you get at a store- I mean there are fake copies of pretty much every item thesedays.

Didn't the Chinese even make a fake Apple store and everything?
if they can fake that, they can make copies of pretty much everything else

anytime anyone claims a deal is unlimited, that is a HUGE red flag.

You also don't get the manufacturer's warranty...just a warranty from Shopless, whatever that means.

And as mentioned above, they just registered the website this year...even though the website states they've been in business since 2006.

Buyer beware for sure.

154 buys already

why do you think it may be fake?

If something sounds too good to be true, it probably is. That plus the fact that there is no concrete evidence that these guys have been in business for any substantial length of time.

Only after threats of litigation. Their initial stance was to deny refunds even though it was a clear cut scam and the business in question did not even exist.

Maybe it's actually refurbished like that KitchenAid stand mixer on teambuy or dealfind...can't remember where? I remember they didn't specify in the deal listing either...

"Hi Dena, thank you for your questions. After confirmation from the merchant, we were informed that this product is brand new and not refurbished. Because Shopless Products is not an authorized retailer, they cannot offer the manufacturer's warranty with this deal, however, they offer a 1 year warranty from Shopless Products Inc. Thank you and Happy DealTicking!"

While I wouldn't put my faith on dealticker, I see that dealfind also made a deal on Dewalt tools with shoplessproducts and I think that dealfind is probably more solid.

So it may work

Dealfind sells so many fake items- they are just as bad.
they partner up with salons that go out of business and change names and you can not use your old vouchers.

Dealfind also sold many fake oralB brush heads and deleted the info saying they were fake.
-also sold fake Gilette and more crap.

I thought it was a great deal. They stated that they had to have 100 orders and I only saw 80 after the deal ended, so I've been trying to reach them. Several emails have gone unanswered and their 888 number is out of service.
Great. Just Great!

I guess it's the BBB now.

This is the generated email reply I get every time I email. (Number doesn't work)

interesting, you can ask dealticker for a refund (they seem some what legit)

if that doesn't work (ppl hear i believe have gotten a refund from dealticker???) you can dispute it with your credit card company within 90 days i believe

Don't less this drag on and on until its hard to get a refund. Surely no one believes they'll receive it after the tool deal wasn't honoured?

I see shopless changed their website to now claiming they are a wholesaler, and to look for their items on deal sites only.
Thats because people were noticing when they were making the site out to be a retailer you couldn't really checkout
