Anyone out there with a Forester lease they plan on returning when up? I'm looking to take over a lease with only a few months left...or if anyone is planning to return their lease I'd love to take their buyout.
2009 or newer...prefer white!

you normally cannot just buy out someone elses buyout without paying tax twice.

It depends...my brother-in-law managed to do it simply by asking the dealership if he could buy his friend's truck coming due.
My goal is to take over the last couple months of a lease, so you incur a small lease transfer fee but have the benefit of the buyout...and worse case, you decide you don't like it, you only lose a few months lease payments plus the transfer fee.
