This question is asked a lot on these forums. Naturally you just want to know the risks, so I'm not going to bore you with the moral crap.
Invariably it comes down to this. Yes, you can apply with just your HS marks. If they find out, you can be expelled without reimbursement. You're expected to disclose all post-secondary marks during the application process to a new school.
Will you get caught? Nobody can answer this. There is no central database that I know of that applicants get pulled through when they apply. Some people have said they've successfully done a do-over this way. As far as I know, nobody has ever come on here claiming they've gotten caught.
Take this all with a grain of salt. You will find many answers in the form of opinions and speculation. For example, someone is going to come in here and ask you what makes you think you can hack it at UOIT if you can't do a year at Ryerson. I'm just saying, don't be surprised if nobody gives you the information you want to know.

Before applying, you should really think about what you want to do. The whole point of RTW is that you can take a year off and think about what you want to do with your life.

Good point. What happened? Will you repeat it again? Maybe taking a year off school to work full-time and do some volunteer work can help you re-focus your career goals again.
And Syne pretty much summed up the responses that you will get here.

Post-secondary schools can do a simple search if there's any discrepancy between graduation of high school and applying for post-secondary. So if you've gradauted from high school say..... 5 years ago, and have no academic obligations during that 5 year time period, then that's where they do the search. They can input your name, date-of-birth, address and other personal information and if there's a match, they can use this as evidence to discipline you if you refuse to disclose your marks. Think of it like a CRA audit where they can do searches and audits simultaneously.
If you're that desparate and dont want to disclose your marks then I suggest going through the legal process of changing your name.

Won't OP have to apply with his/her high school marks anyways? Those records would show his/her previous name (if he/she does decide to change names), which would just make things even more suspicious?

i took the year off now they are rejecting my applications, so now i have to apply for another university, i applied for uoit and did put that i went to ryerson. Is it an automatic process that if you fail in one school you cant get in another or is it at university discretion?

Don't worry bro, I nearly failed utsc and am now a whole new person at Ryerson. I reported everything. Ryerson, however, accepted me on condition that I did well on the Chang course I was doing before getting accepted. Maybe you can do the same? Does uoit offer any continuing education classes that can be applied to your program (prospective)

I can't speak of UOIT in particular, but I know that the colleges out west (ie: NAIT/SAIT) have policies that do not penalize an individual for failing to succeed at University. They recognize that a not-so-insignificant number of people are not successful in university programs.
Its a more common scenario than you think; you should go talk to an admissions officer if you're worried or desire more information.

+1 no one really knows. My suspicion is that if you have "gaps" in your resume, they MAY look into you further, and they can use your SIN to pull up your osap history with regards to loans. So you better change your name and SIN if you;re gonna do this otherwise it would just take an advisor entering your sin in the system to see you went to another school and got osap from there.

sorry to burst your bubble, but if you cant even handle ryerson you might as well go to Humber college across from your school.

So you better change your name and SIN
He has no grounds that the government would accept to allow him to change his SIN.

I am in a similar situation, I failed 3 years at Queens doing Science. Now I'm required to withdraw for ONE year. Feel like Science isn't for me.
I want to apply to Ryerson/ York Nursing program with my High School marks (average around 85%)
Was wondering If anyone know if Ryerson/ York care about past failure at another university, as I would only like to get considered based on my previous High School marks. Anyone know for a fact, if we are REQUIRED to show them our past university marks?
I have already made a post for my situation, waiting for moderator to approve of post, but any help would be appreciated.
