Does anyone know how big the regular seats are at the Rogers Centre? For example, are they only 15 inches wide?

I know I can fit in the seats okay (weight around 200 lbs), but I have a friend who weights over 300 lbs. I'm not sure he would fit.

a 300 lb+ man would defintiely have trouble seating comfortable in those chairs. The chairs are too narrow, he would have to sit sideways in the seats.

Might be difficult if he's trying to sit in between the arm rest.

It's meant for the average size male.. around 5 ft 8" inches, with a 34 inch waste, 40 inch chest. Anything above that (ie. more than a pair of people like that, it can get exponentially tighter and less 'movable').

My dad weighs about 300 pounds and although he's not totally comfortable, he can still fit in the seats.

Because it would be kind of stupid if it were a thin person in question.

I think the difference has a lot to do with diet. US gets a lot of hormones pumped into their meat.....we do too but not as much.
There are areas of Toronto where people are really short. I am pretty sure they grew up abroad and moved here. Not that there is anything wrong with being short.

I found this:

All seats are a generous size with 32 to 33 inches between the seat back and the chair ahead

Watch a game on tv and you will see lots of fatsos at the game. Laat time I was there (2005, lol) I didn't notice anyone, even huge guys have trouble sitting, With regards to the name when I was there it was already the Roger's Centre, hasn't been the Skydome for a long while.

You should be fine if you get seats in the centre sections. These seats are naturally wider (normal width). Do NOT get the seats that curve (on the corners), because they are less wide in some areas and your friend won't fit. Also, if you are truly worried, go for Club Seats. They are 2" wider than normal seats. Also, end seats always help because he can spill over onto the aisle... I see fatties doing it all the time there. And tell your friend not to fell bad for being fat and shoving nachos down, all he needs to do is look next to him and he will see an alcoholic with a beer in each hand shoving liquor down his throat. Yep, canucks games... the picture of health.
