I was booking a vacation for a famuily of 4 to Mexico on Expedia.ca and the quote for trip cancellation insurance is $210. Allianz is the company, so for kicks I went directly to the Canadian Allianz site and reqested a quote and it came back just under $50. It also included medical in this version. Is that right or am I missing something here. That is the lowest I've ever seen travel insurance for, there must be something wrong here.

Can anyone enlighten me.

The $50 sounds right for just medical and the $210 sounds right for all inclusive (trip cancellation for whatever reasons they permit) and medical... maybe you chose the wrong value in a drop box or something?

Must be something with the coverage that you've chosen because I think travel medical coverage is usually more expensive than trip cancellation.
