Urgent urgent urgent help needed

I need help. I know it is like last minute but I am the master of procrastination.

Situation: I totally forgot that today is the last day to do my taxes and I can't find my T4 from work. I know that CRA charges about 5% interest for late peeps like me. I have no idea how much I will owe but I am assuming that it will be between 500-1000. On their website they have an option to just make a payment to go against your 2011 year. If I make the payment without filing my taxes will I pay the late fee? I would just make a payment for $1500 and ask for the rest back if it turns out that I overpayed (will find out once I file).

PLEASE PLEASE help this is urgent. lol I have like 1 hour to make a move. PS I would be using their electronic payment thing. Doesn't that take a few days to process so I will pay the late fees anyways?

I don't know the answer but how about this:

File your tax return, guess at the amount of money gross and taxes paid. File amendment later.
You are not lying....I don't know if you can get into trouble for this though. Make sure you give them money so they find it to be an honest try.

You can get your T4 from the CRA Website.
