Just got back from Vegas and took a video of the fountain at the Bellagio... pretty amazing to watch in person I think! I didn't realize just how just it was! Also, I didn't know they did tons of different songs... very impressive. I actually liked the Michael Jackson one best, but didn't capture it on video...

Nice. Hope you enjoyed Vegas overall? Kind of reminds me the end of Oceans 11.

Ya, it was cool. Except I actually spent my time roadtripping the southwest US. Very little time in Vegas... and it was all sober :(

A lot of Vegas can be summed up in a weekend... hence the weekend Vegas get-a-ways!

Nice video! I was amazed at the Fountain myself as well. I was all set up to take pictures of the fountain but it started raining very briefly so I took my rig down. When I came back later on, I wouldn't get a good point of view.
You could add the soundtrack yourself over the captured audio. :P Pretty simple to do and you'd get rid of the noise and popping.

When I was there a year ago, I also took a video of it. Only had a cell phone video at that time. My favorite song was Andrea Bocelli/Sarah Brightman Con te partirĂ².

I guess they haven't changed the song playlist? I heard the same song 6 years ago when I was there.
Same company also did the fountain at the base of the Burj Khalifa in Dubai which incidentally, uses the same song too:

Awesome video....if you 'search' on Youtube a lot are NOT as good as YOURS! :D
Next time, book a reservation at OLIVES in the Bellagio and sit on the Patio...
You will be about 10 feet from the fountains and it is so spectacular
Again, Good job on the videoooooooooooooo :D

I beg to differ. I spend a week there at a time and I drive. If you visit each hotel and check out what it is famous for (even the crappy ones have something unique) you'll never get it all in within three days. If you gamble, you can really forget it and if you go offstrip like I do, you can really really really forget it.
Kaitlyn, please post some stills.

In June I will be returning to Las Vegas with my new weapon... the 8-15 f4L fisheye. So many things that I couldn't fit in will all of a sudden be visible.
I will attempt this shot again:

and many indoor shots like this will be re-taken:

I disagree also... I was there for 4 days and I would go back in a heart beat because I didn't get to do everything I wanted to.

To clarify my comment, I wouldn't go back to walk the strip or gamble which I found completely boring (the gambling, not the strip!). But there are a few things I didn't get the see like Hoover Dam and the south rim of the Grand Canyon.

The term "A lot of Vegas" means a lot of what normal visitors to Vegas look for (ie. a show, a walk down the strip, drinks, a few card games...). It does not include what is outside of Vegas (ie Hoover Dam, Valley of Fire State Park...) or people going down there for something other than a show, drinks, and the strip.

There is always the panorama option

When I was planning my tour of Grand Canyon, Las Vegas is the most conveniently strategic place to fly to from Toronto. There are lots of flights to choose from and the car rental facilities are top notch.
There are lots of tourist destination in the areas, the Hoover Dam, the Grand Canyon South and North rims, and Zion National Park. Red Rock Canyon is small but only minutes from Las Vegas for those wanting to stay in the city. Of the 10 day long vacation in 3 states (NV, AZ, UT), only two days I stayed in Vegas, the day I flew in and the day I flew out.
