Walmart.ca Online Shopping Question

I was wondering about ordering stuff from walmart.ca
If I pre order an item will they ship same day? or do they pre ship a few days before so that you get the item on release day?
Who do they use for shipping?
What is the general timing with ordering an "in stock" item, from order to delivered?

I ordered a dvd just for kicks and used the 97 cent shipping. It came in an envelope with a stamp on it.

I ordered the Muppets on pre-order and got it on the release day so it's pretty fast. That and I'm in Vancouver so it's rarely that fast.
