the gel type. the loctite ones at canadiantire never go on sale and it's like $5-9 for a tiny bottle.

Superstore carries ross superglue for just over $1.50 a tube. Much more reasonable than krazy glue at $4 a pop.

I like their 4 minitubes for $4 as you'll know the other 3 won't dry out. I get them from Shoppers. Just convenient.

Dollarama sells 4 tubes of regular (non-gel) for a loonie. At that price I don't care if the tube dries out after one use, however, if you're careful you can make a tube last for months.

The trick is to keep the glue away from air.
• squeeze the tube carefully so that only glue remains inside
• insert a pin, small nail or similar to cover the hole (some tubes have a pin built into the cap)
• wrap some electrical tape around the cap so as to further seal the tube
But admittedly for many people this is more than 25¢ worth of hassle.

You can also refridgerate super glue to prevent it from drying out, but I doubt many people will want to store crazy glue alongside their food.

Anyway, as noted above you can find crazy glue at the dollar store and I would just buy from there.
