costco sells it for like $3 a blade but you must buy a 18 pk. seems like it's the cheapest anywhere including ebay. or am i missing something?

Amazon usually has them too for good price. I recently bought some in bulk. :)
Are you looking to shave your beard or what? If not I recommend a body trimmer, it will save you a lot of money and avoid razor burns.

Does it have to be Gillette?
What about Dollar Shave Club or Dorco?

(American prices btw, but Dorco ships to Canada, dunno about DSC)

thats a good deal.. blades are so damn expensive..

shoppers is a rip off, superstore is a rip off, walmart is a rip off. they all go for around the same price anyway.

just be a man, grow a beard (unless your job requires you to shave)

Off topic a bit for sure, but ditching this kind of blades for a nice safety razor was the best thing I ever did.

You can get the blades in 10 packs for only 8 bucks, or if you buy them in bulk online the costs can come way down(40 for 100, shipped, for example).

If you switch over to shaving soap instead of cream, which I find makes my skin feel way better, you will save a ton on shaving cream. A two dollar soap puck has lasted me for months, and I have hardly made a dent in it.

It is a bit of an initial investment in new gear, but you get a way better shave and the long term costs are incredibly low.

Just food for thought.

They aren't that cheap at Costco. Watch for sales, Safeway always has sales for proglides and they have the best sales/pricing IMO. on sale they go as low as $20 for an 8 pack at Safeway.

Watch Shoppers Drug Mart. Over the years I have bought out their numerous clearances and have gotten blades for under $1 per blade, less if I had coupons, complete with the base. I will never run out at this rate :p They tend to clear them out for dirt cheap every few months. Just bought 2 packs of 4 for $3 each.

Well, the older ones I stocked up on are Mach 3, but they have a variety of multi-blade replacements.

I dropped blades years ago when I went electric. A one time price of $180 has saved me many dollars in blades.

Yes, but the blades in my first electric razor lasted over a year with daily use. I think I'm about 7 months into my new razor now and still on the first blade. I actually use it with shaving cream and find it to be just as close as a razor but with virtually zero irritation or burn.

This. There are even cheaper blade options than that. I think I paid around $20 for a few hundred blades. Either way, cheap.

Tonnes of options out there for soap too. I bought a few when I started this style of shaving, and the triple milled ones seem to last forever! I spent about $50 bucks 3 years ago on stuff (besides blade and brush), and with my routine I still have years of supplies left.

I have never had an electric blade go dull on me (I use Braun).

You do have to replace the screen every couple years or so though. That will run you about $40 or so.
