My ACer monitor was working fine. Had it for 3+ years. Tonight went away then came back. All of a suden it has a blue hue. It's like taking a blue filter to be looking into the monitor.

I tried turning it off and on. Tried the auto config/adjust. Doesn't do anything.

What can I try?

Thanks.

Found this
http://3dblogger.typepad.com/wired_state/2011/08/how-to-get-rid-of-blue-tint-computer-screen.html

But for my monitor it turned out to be a loose cable not at the monitor end but at the PC end. Now problem solved.

Your DVI/VGA connection? Have you tried giving it a wiggle? Made sure it wasn't loose?

It is past its warranty at 3+ years, get a new one

Yeah!

Try using DVI since it's digital. You may have better luck and it may rid the blue hue. Good luck!
