Snail mail - Canada Post

How long does regular mail with Canada Post take? From Ontario, to Ontario?
Just a regular letter

Depends how far away they are... I normally get stuff in 3-4 days.

We did an experiment a few years ago. Wrote a letter to ourselves, put a stamp on it, put it into the community mailbox, just to see how long it would take for it to come back to us. It took more than 3 days!

I asked the lady at the postal outlet. She said it didn't matter where the destination was, the letter had to be picked up from our mailbox, brought to the closest postal outlet. It sat there until the next day when outgoing mails got picked up and brought to the central office. In the central office the letter went through another sorting then sat there with other letters headed to the same area. The next day the big mail truck came to pick up the bags for the postal outlet. Once again it sat at the postal outlet waiting to be sorted for different routes. Not sure if I remember everything correctly but it took over 3 days to get back to us. :D
