Looking for an IT support technician in the Winnipeg area for adhoc, next business day dispatch.
Job Responsibilities include:
1. Provide Tier 1(and some Tier 2) helpdesk support in a Windows environment.
2. Help manage IT client (user) relations and to maintain defined service levels
3. Plan and execute IT projects as directed by his/her manager
4. Help ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the IT department, meeting schedules with accurate work and results as well as limited down time
Nice to have:
1. 2+ years experience in an IT related field
2. Strong experience in providing Customer Support (help desk) to remote users (primarily over the phone or through remote support methods)
3. Experience working with windows domains including knowledge of Active Directory (AD, DNS, WINS)
4. General Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Word), and Symantec Endpoint Protection5. General hardware maintenance and repair
