He asked for first hand experience - not opinion. Why would even toss out an opinion when you have nothing to back it up? Is your opinion that important to you?

i can see why he'd wonder since this could go two ways. The total we're allowed to import is $20 but if it's a subscription it'd likely be above that however the value of each shipment will likely be well under.

In theory it should work as well as ordering a sub from the US which people do here all the time without duties.

So...in other words, it's unlikely OP would be charged taxes on magazines shipped from overseas. I didn't see any reference to personal experience in your post, either. Why is your opinion acceptable, but mine not?

I have two subscriptions to UK magazines for 5 years. Paid with credit card -
not extra charges.
