Aaron's? Anyone know anything about it?

Just saw on ad on the tube for Aaron's. They're offering a preapproved credit of 3k. I took a look at their website and see they have a TON of stores. I never knew such a place existed!

Their website is quite vague, but it looks like a rent to own type scam? Anyone know about this place? Anyone purchased anything there?

i don't know what you would classify as a scam... but they are the same as those other rent to own places where you pay like 3 times the price by the time you pay off whatever you put in for.

they seem to be the easiest to rip off as a couple that lives across from me scammed them for a whole bedroom and living room set. the aaron's cube van is at their door what seems like every other day knocking to get payment or the items back....

unless you REALLLY need the item i wouldn't use them, i consider them to be like a payday loan place... once you use them you are kinda stuck to get out and end up paying way more than you should for something you could have easily saved up for and bought on clearance or sale.
