Hi Fellow RFDers,

I'm looking for any deals on buying some fireworks that I can use for the upcoming May long weekend (May 19,20,21). I know in the past there have been groupon, wagjag, teambuy, deal of the day type of deals, but I haven't been able to find many. There was one on the wagjag website that I picked up yesterday, but it seems very small. The only one I see right now that's available is from TeamBuy which is this one:

http://www.teambuy.ca/mississauga/28137612

However, the deal doesn't go live until 4.5 days from now which will be past the upcoming May long weekend.

Does anyone have any ideas where to get a good deal on Fireworks for this weekend? I'm specifically looking for something in the west-end (Oakville, Burlington, Milton, Hamilton, Mississauga). Is my best bet to go to Canadian Tire and see what they have or look for one of those trucks in a parking lot? I've never purchased anything from them before.

Thanks in advance!

It's on Haines just off Queensway - not sure if any deals this year, but staff is very helpful and knowledgeable.

Check out comment thread on deal for Kaboom - it can be use this weekend.

I recommend avoiding Canadian Tire unless you have no other choice. They tend to sell overpriced prepackaged kits that are 90% whistlers and roman candles, all of which get boring really fast.

I'm not sure which trailers are available in your area, but if it's from Rocket Fireworks then they are good in terms of prices.

I buy most of my fireworks from Victory Fireworks, but they are located in Richmond Hill.

Thanks for the info guys! I just checked out the TeamBuy Q&A and it looks like there were a few people complaining and they either changed it or clarified that your voucher will be available the next day. So I bought one of those.

I'll see if I'm in the Haines and Queensway area to check out that store. I'll see if Rocket Fireworks is anywhere near my area. Now I just gotta see where the trucks are! Much appreciated!
