Or spray it with something. Like hairspray. That way it'll be stuck in place (or fall on your face, heh). And if it's stuck in place, it'll die in place.

Then you can get it whenever it is convenient for you.

If u can't reach it with a broom or ladder, then get a small wet towel and toss it at the ceiling to knock it down. Then, find it on the carpet or floor and kill it.

Looks like some hybrid cricket thing.
With a ceiling like that I wouldn't risk torching stuff so I don't end up with burn marks.

I find an upside can of compressed air works very effectively. Think of Demolition man when they cyro-freeze people :)
