I want to purchase tub online which is on sale for $799 from $1435.

However, local store that has it in stock are clearing them out at $649.

I just called Home Depot Online and they said they do not price match their own local stores but that pretty much defeats the purpose of price match. If they can't even price match their own, how the hell are they going to price match others?

How should I argue with them to get them to price match their own local store?

Any advise will be appreciated.

Thanks.

Kevin.

I've tired, and failed
However they said they would do it but I had to pay for next day delivery, which would have negated any sort of savings

Essentially they run their online, and their B&M as a different entity.
Some HD stores have in store only sales, and the Website had web only deals as well. Typically it will be stated as an in store only, or a web only deal, thus negating a price match.

Is it possible to just order the tub now and get them to apply 10% off coupon when it comes in 4-7 weeks?
