Noticed the rollback yesterday, think it was previously $238.
Anybody use one of these things?

I bought an Actifry last November when it went on sale for $188 and have not regretted the purchase one bit. The most obvious reason for it's use is that it does not require much oil, sometimes none at all. It does not create an oily smell so when making fries they come out crisp without having your kitchen smell like oil for the next few days. It is also great for making things you would not thought it could make. I makes the crispiest wings I've ever had and does so in 25 minutes (no preheating required).
You should note that it is not good for things that are battered as it is not a traditional fryer. It is more like a convection oven that rotates the food and it will take a little bit of time before you're food gets hard enough to retain it's form. I have not tried it with spring rolls yet but am hoping for great results without destroying the rolls before they are crispy enough.
If you've been on the fence about the machine, I would suggest trying it. Worst comes to worst, you have 90 days to return it at Walmart.

Good to know.
I like to make onion rings. Do you think it could handle panko breading?

I have personally not made any but I'm sure if you put extra breading on it will be fine as come will come apart in the early cooking stages as it will be hit with the instrument that makes the food turn round and round.
You might have to try a few times to get the perfect ratio for this type of cooking.
Good luck

Thanks. One of my favourite things to do, experimenting with new cooking equipment!!
