Epic fail at a laundromat. Babysitter and her friend puts child in a washer and accidentally starts the machine. (The machine requires a laundry card and someone to manually lock the door to start, then the machine auto-locks when the washer starts so customers don't flood the laundromat).

Please refrain from racist comments. While the decision to put the kid in the washer and lock the door was silly, the guy was only trying to keep the child entertained.

Yeah, at first it's the most hilarioous thing I've seen in a while, then it it quickly turns to horror as you start to realize nobodies neck is going to be able to tolerate that.

It's dumb. Doesn't matter if it's supposed to be entertaining to the child. It was just a stupid move.

I know it's a dryer, but those side loading washers, they lock the second they start. Why didn't that guy think the dryers might as well? Some people want to leave their stuff unattended, having them lock to prevent theft makes complete sense.

"Hey Dad, do you remember that time in the Landromat?"

I don't have a kid, but I do take care of my nephew. We usually take his clothes off before we wash them.

The Sun reported on this two days ago and it refers to the two adults as the parents of the toddler.

That video was tough to watch. Anyone know if the kid survived? Were the parents charged?

EDIT:

What could you charge them with?

They had no idea that there was money in machine, and once the door closed, that it would start moving.

It's sort of like putting a kid on a swing, pushing them too far, the swing tangles, the kid flips upside down, spills out of the swing, but catches their legs in it, and bangs their head off the ground.

Everybody knows that swings are dangerous but they use them anyways.

If someone puts a child in harms way, whether or not they intended any harm to the child, they could be charged. Don't think for a minute the police couldn't find something to charge these people with. As to the specific charge, I have no idea. This happened in NJ and I couldn't be bothered to research all the laws in NJ just to find one that would be relevant. Feel free though.

Whats the point of going to wonderland and spending a lot of money. When you could have a better ride in a washing machine.

Comparing a swing to a washing machine? You can't be serious.

It's not really a fact that only black people abuse/neglect children, nor is it a fact that only black people unintentionally put children in harms way. Can I find a video of a white couple putting a child into a washer and turning it on? Probably not, but I'm sure it's happened before. Besides, I can find articles of whites and Asians committing much more heinous acts towards children.

Start with Mohammad Khan and Daniel Briere.

Shows how dumb you are then.

I made a statement, that is 100% true, that I have never seen a white person do the equivalent act. This statement does not mean all black people beat their children, it just means I have never seen a white person put a baby in a washing machine.

My sister used to climb into our dryer when she a toddler. But that's not the same as this... home dryers don't lock and don't start as soon as the door closes (a button needs to be pressed). Plus, my sister was never put inside of it, she went in on her own. When my parents saw her doing it, they made sure the laundry room door was locked.

Swings are designed for people... and especially children. What washing machine is designed for children to be put inside?

You sir... are an idiot.

While I don't agree with MrKap. Swing can be dangerous, there were kids died slipping off from swing before.

Luckily for me, I can never understand how pumping the swing works. :o

He was just providing an example of how utterly idiotic your comment was. Ignorance sucks, get out of the house and socialize with people and you'll quickly realize all races ressemble each other a lot more than they differ. And if you really want an example of people of all races doing extremely dumb things then I suggest you watch the Jackass movies or some reality tv.

Really? I made a comment on the utter hyopcrisy of his statement.

I said I have never seen a video of a white person putting their child into a washing mashine. I am assuming you can make the same statement?

When I made that comment I was told I should be banned for racism.

That guy posts a bunch of things that would lead someone to believe that while people are all pedos / pervs / deadbeats etc but when I call him out I am the one in the wrong?

Sorry, society says it is ok to call out white person failures but not those of other races I guess?

Only a simpleton would come to that conclusion; so I can see why the post went way above your head.

Funny how your original statement changed from "seen a white person (http://forums.redflagdeals.com/epic-babysitting-failure-1180324/2/#post14789286)" to "seen a video of a white person (http://forums.redflagdeals.com/epic-babysitting-failure-1180324/3/#post14792369)" after you were proved wrong eh...

But stay with that sinking ship, maybe it'll work out for you.

Your post was nothing but bait for the thread to turn into a racism debate. You have obviously succeeded.

You claim you were just making a simple comment about a white person never putting their kid in a washer. Why did you single out only white? What about Asian? Indian? Muslim? to name a few. Have you ever seen any of parents of those cultures/races put a child in a washer? If no, then why, in your post, you just had to mention white parents?
