How long do you wear your clothes before changing or washing?

Since there is a thread about how often you shower, I'd like to know how long you go wearing the same clothes? For me I'd wear clothes for a day or 2, before changing. It depends on what I was doing while wearing them. I change my shorts everyday, and always put on a fresh pair. Same with socks. So how about you guys/gals? How long do you wear the same item of clothing before changing them? How long do you ladies go before changing your bra and panties? I'm certain peeps wearing the same clothes days at a time also lead to them smelling bad, even though they shower daily or every other day.

Laundry is expensive, that's why you always need "comfortable" clothes, and clothes which you wear around.

I can go months without washing a pair of jeans, but the undershirts and socks and such, they need to be washed regularly.

Washing clothes too often causes them to fade. I would rather stink up the place than ruin clothing which is expensive.

Laundry is cheap... what u talking about? Well I find deals on detergent all the time, and it's best to do laundry when the electricity is cheaper on the weekends, at night. So I change my clothes and wear something new every day. Pile it up until ready to be washed weekly. Wearing your clothes over and over is gross. Jeans can go without a wash for a week or two... but you actually wait months to wash yours??

For jeans, I can go weeks or even a month.

For other stuff, it depends, but I'm usually not the kind of person who needs to wash something after I wore it once (not including socks and underwear).

If something's not dirty and I didn't sweat in it, I might wash it once a week or so. Maybe even less depending on how often I wear it.

If dry cleaning were free, stuff would get cleaned after each outing. However, since that is not the case, I prefer to wash my clothes after maybe 3 wearings. I gotta hand wash a lot of stuff, and that is a real biatch. Also, washing darks often will fade them faster.

I wash my jeans the least out of all my clothes. I wash my underwear, socks and T-shirts after every time I wear them. I wash my shorts and shirts after a couple of uses.

If you keep yourself clean by showering regularly and by not sweating too much, which I do, then you don't need to wash your clothes all that often.

Depends on the clothing and the level of sweat I produced when wearing those items. Jeans, don't wash very often. I can wear cargo shorts, jackets and sweaters for a week(s) before having to change/wash. Boxers, socks and t-shirt goes into the laundry bin at the end of the day.

Jeans/pants, usually twice a week if worn every day. Everything else gets washed after every use. I don't like wearing unwashed clothes, and it's just as easy to throw it in the hamper and wash it in bulk as it is to hang it up to re-wear. I'd do the pants too except it's a pain to remove the belt, empty pockets etc so I only get around to it every few wearings.

But I get so pissed off with my jeans every time I wash it, until it loosens up again. Fit is very important!

At work I wear the same clothes 3 times a week. I do not wash it unless it is dirty. I use fabreeze.
