Title pretty much describes it all. A family member moved to another province, and still has a car here. I need to sell it. Anybody knows what the process is, and what documents are needed?

You are not selling a car remotely, you are selling a car on behalf of an owner (who happens to be remote).
It doesn't matter if they are in another province or next door - you have to have their signature on the appropriate forms (registration etc.) allowing you to act for them.
If this wasn't done in anticipation of you selling the vehicle for them, you will have to depend on Canada Post helping out.
Just go through all the motions as though you were selling your own vehicle, getting the family member to sign as and when needed.

Thanks. Well, it's him who's selling the car remotely, and I'm just helping out. So yes, the thread is about selling the car remotely :)
Anyway, any idea if only the original signatures are required (in which case I'd really be stuck with mailing papers back and forth), or if it's ok to fax the papers over?
Actually, I was hoping that there'd be some kind of a document of him entrusting me to sell the car on his behalf - that way, only one signature is required, and if I find a buyer, he/she won't be worried for a "Nigerian prince" kind of deal (really, how attractive is it to buy a car, when you know you can't meet the owner in-person?)

No, you are actually selling the car. That's the point I am trying to make. He signs that authority over to you so he doesn't have to be present.
The buyer doesn't really care who is on the title - they will want to deal with you and make sure the car is good, the price is right, and all the legalities are in order.
And I mentioned Canada Post because, yes, original signed documents only AFAIK.
Someone else can chime in, but that's how it works when I did it.

Try sellmycar.ca but you need a letter of authorization from the owner i guess.
