They have the worst return policy! 15% restocking fee? what the hell. They told me to keep the box in the event I needed to return it, but apparently you need that extra packaging that holds the external drive in the box! seriously no return cause of a missing piece of paper?

not to mention the horrible service. I went to return a UPS and the employee just walked away. i yelled at that little adn he said he was getting the manager. good thing he did cause I got that fired for yelling at me.

i swear to god all the stuff tigerdirect sells is stolen. returns line is always long and that stupid fat is too slow. lose some weight it will make you work faster!

Seriously, Tiger's bad, but it's hardly the only one who charges a restocking fee; most online vendors do (and it's usually 15% too).

You do realize that it is customers like you that we have 15% restocking fees.

I think we can safely say the user is the problem here. Defective customer for sure.

Bad attitude and evidently very good at expressing how they feel.

Not to mention, contrary to popular belief, the customer is NOT always right, as seen here.

Exactly, and keep all packaging until the warranty is over......surprisingly all of the packaging fits into the box he kept

lol

OP, you know they staple a piece of paper to your receipt detailing the return policy right? And at Queensway I believe they even have a huge sign about the 15% restocking fee. It's common practice to charge a restocking fee if you throw away the contents in the box.

During my experience in various levels of retail, not only have I determined that the customer is usually wrong, most times they're also morons.

Hi there,

Well, common sense distated if you buy something in condition A, if you allow to return it (fee or not), it still must be in condition A...

Sometimes, I wonder how people can live with themselves. Go to the store, rip the box open to see what the item inside. Stuff the item back inside quickly and put it back and grab another unopen box to buy. :|

The irony, that same person rip it open at home and decide that doesn't want it, comes back to the store and return it. Customer service refused because of the condition, customer complaint, yell and so forth. Manager accept return just to get that person to go away. Now store has 2 open items that can't be resell, therefore lost.

Not to mention, 2 customers that want to buy that item lose out as well. :|

hold up here... he got the employee fired for yelling at him ??? if you read up a bit further he admits to yelling at the employee for simply getting the manager, nowhere does he claim the employee yelled at him.

not only is there rage in effect, but also some hallucinating.

seems OP needs to read the side affects of the meds they are taking : *may cause drowsiness, inability to urinate in a straight line, shortness of breath, out of the blue raging, spontaneous slip cheek and hallucinations of other peoples reactions,

I used to work as a CSR, if the item was working when they return it, we just restrapped it and put it on the shelf to be sold. We just don't put defective items back up.

If Tiger Direct is the worst company in the world, then you must be the worst customer in the world.

There are companies that kill people and the OP thinks TD is worse since he does not agree with a policy he did not have the common sense to read before he made a purchase. All credibility is forever lost as far as I am concerned.

Unless you have only deal with/heard of one company in the world in your life, you have no idea what the worst is.
