Well, i bought a 20 year old car and i had trouble transfering the ownership. MTO wanted me to appraise the car for them to register it.
Anyone recommends a fair, professional appraiser that is mobile? My car is in the garage and i cant move it without any plates.

Why would you need to have it appraised, how much did you pay? Is this a vehicle that requires historic plates? That I could see but if it's an old rusted out civic that's a different story...

What the ministry wants is a MTO appraisal - usually 30 - 50 bucks.
I found a guy on kijiji to appraise my Nova for 20bucks(sorry can't find his number.
Mto does not have values on older cars.
You can also bring your appraisal (the 1 that you give your insurance for agreed value)
