Messenger bag for an iPad? Laptop? [Archive]

Hey guys - I bought "The New iPad" recently, and today I bought the new Macbook pro w/ Retina Display

I'm looking to buy a bag that's small but could carry both.....

It'd be nice if the bag had pockets for a wallet or a passport hard drive as well.

I'm in the same boat. I've been considering the TimBuk2 messenger bag seen here: http://www.timbuk2.com/tb2/products/freestyle-messenger-plus-macbook-air but I don't know how well it would fit the Air and an iPad.

Hands, feet, everything down best messenger bag out right now is the Philip Sparks collection at Danier.

I managed to snag the last cognac briefcase in the line (in the entire chain).

I bought this in April. The whole bag is padded for support. The laptop (up to 15") is faux fur lined. Super durable canvas. Metal zippers and lots of pockets (inside and outside). Overall, the bag is marked at 20oz capacity, which is not big at all!

Bought at the bag shop near Get Outside on Queen St.

Gucci and Agnes B also make iPad cases for the metrosexual, modern man.

I would highly recommend them as they are well made and well priced.

I've found Tom Bihn to be excellent, although a bit pricey once you start to configure the bag.

I have both the Empire Builder and the Brain Bag - both are extremely well made bags. There's no point in spending $$$ on an ipad or laptop, only to stick it in a crap bag.

So I really like this bag, and I know that I've bumped this thread a lot but it's just to see if there's anyone out there that has a suggestion that may have not seen this thread yet. I may pick up the bag quoted if no one else chimes in.
