the other thread mentioned due to demand > supply, dealers are giving next to nothing. Therefore, the CCC report is useless.

Just call all the Infiniti dealers and hope one will give you some discount.

Doubt anyone can get any sort of discount but maybe free oil changes if ur lucky! Like any other new car coming out, this car is going to be hot and selling like crazzzzy! I wouldnt even bother with discounts as you might not even get your hands on one due to waiting list and demand!

OP. Did you end up getting? What was the price you paid?

If want discount on JX, might need to wait for the model to get older = less demand.

Not sure why OP want to buy a Nissan product, when we know Nissan were building inferior products for a 1/2 a decade now.

Wait until they rename it the QX60. JX35's will be cheaper then.

+1000. Terrible reliability

I am not sure why this vehicle is so popular?

I dunno if this ugly-mobile SUV/CUV will really be "selling like crazy" but starting at $45k in Canada is less than I expected as it is (though I have no idea where the price goes when optioned out). Audi Q7 which seems comparable in size, starts at ~$59k.

Might want to consider the 2013 Pathfinder which is built on the same platform and includes a lot of the same equipment.

the great thing about the jx35 is the ability to get to the 3rd row WITHOUT removing the stage 2 seats. i wish we have that feature on our xc90

Yes, but you won't get crushed by a speeding Hummer in a XC90 vs a JX35.

The JX35 has good safety ratings. Not sure where you are going with that. It's a great family car. The most common complain is the lack of power.

JX35 is packed with nanny and safety features.

The Pathfinder is a good alternative if you don't mind owning a Nissan vs an Infiniti. The Pathfinder actually is better than the JX in some areas.

Agreed. I bought my wife one last week and am getting one for my parents next week. It's very very practical if you have kids in car seats.

The two things I wish it had are:

1. More power. Why only 265 hp?
2. Improved handling. It's a bit soft but I'm comparing it to the RX350 we returned at the end of the lease and my new G37X which I also picked up last week.

Let's comment on this when IIHS gets to the SUV with that new test.

I was offered $750 over invoice from Markham infiniti on highway 7. That was on a lease deal.

I totally agree with you. I think volvo/porsche/MB is the only company that uses boron steel in the car......

Can you PM with more details or share on the forum? What was the config of the vehicle and was it a demo? Did you end up buying?

That was for the base model. The sales guy(Barry Shulman) tried what he could to get me a lease of 600/month. He kept removing profit, dealer fees etc and I was blown away by how much he was willing to drop to. He is a great sales guy, really liked him.
I actually ended up buying a used 2010 Acura MDX from Markham Acura.

Salespeople NEVER remove profit for your benefit. He was probably moving it to other areas, or already had a padded starting price to begin with.

Your name says it all. But you are wrong, numbers don't lie, he had the computer right in front of me. He's super honest and did his best.

must be a really slow day for the sales to do that. or he is trying to meet his month end sales target.
