As we are having a rain for the last couple of days in GTA, when I went to see my attic, I noticed one piece of plywood looks black.

I am not sure if it is a big problem, or it is just the way it can be. Also the roof is abut 13 years old, and here is the picture taken by me.

If you guys can give me any suggestions, help me with this, it will be
greatly appreciated.

I believe the wood maybe more aspenite rather then plywood and I believe it has severe moisture damage. It maybe possible that the opening created was not properly sealed and has also entered into the attic which is why the blown in insulation is darker in that area.

Yes I would have it looked at, but my first question would be, how much life do you believe you have left on your roof shingles?

Thanks very much. As I was told by my home inspetor, for this year, the roof shingles has 2 or 3 years left.
