Combination Key FOB and Garage Door Opener

Anyone have or use one?

There's been some opportunistic teenagers opening unlocked cars and using garage door openers to gain entry into garages, then stealing items in my community.

A lot of people leave the GD openers in their cars, but forget to lock their car doors, leading to this problem

Does a universal item exist that can do this?

Some people just forget...

Although I don't keep a garage door opener in my car, another family member does and she's forgotten to lock her car up for so long because she didn't realize for awhile her key fob battery was dead. So when she pushed unlock she assumed it unlocked via the fob :facepalm:

I have a key fob garage door transmitter as my 11 year old car didn't come with Homelink. It is quite handy as I use the same set of keys even if I go out and am not driving. When I get home, I can open the garage door.

The Homelink transmitter in our Audi doesn't work unless the accessories are on. Accessories will still be on even after you shut off the car, until the driver's door is opened.
