Hey guys.

Rogers cable is coming over tomorrow and I want to reset everything back to normal, problem is I was messing around with a few splitters and forgot which was the default rogers one (rogers from toronto ontario D:).

Anyone know which it is?

I've got all these

I'm pretty sure Rogers uses the top 3.
Definitely not the RCA one.

OP, don't worry about it. These are a dime a dozen for them. They will just give you another if one is not working. They don't care how many lines you have in the house. In fact I would think they want to see you have more splits because it increase the chances of you needing another cable box.

Rogers doesnt want you to do your own splits! This is one of those things where Rogers banks on the customer "not knowing" the truth. This is what Rogers doesnt want you to know. The line that comes from their green box on the strete or pole to your house into their CSE (grey box) is THEIR line! From that point on, the line(s) running into your house are yours, and yours to do with however you please. They lose sales of extra lines/cable boxes.

But in their defence if you play around with the wiring and require them to come out and fix it, it is only fair they charge a service fee for that.

You won't be able to use the splitters much longer with the rogers digital adapter roll out which is ********. Pure greed at its core. I just threw my letter out when I received it and will be cancelling my service with them once my contract is up. I don't think they should be able to dictate how many tv's I watch with my cable line. Its like telling me I can only use my internet on one computer and can't use a router unless I pay them more money. Go F yourself rogers!

Well said.

I have 3 lines to my house and all of them have poor signals just happened in the last few weeks. I called Rogers to send a tech to install the signal booster/splitter. Free of charge with my digital vip package.

Irony is that more and more people are downloading/streaming the shows/movies they want to watch and rather then work along with what people want they are trying to dictate how we should watch/surf. ie data caps, line limits etc
