I need to replace the battery in my mid 2009 Macbook Pro 13" as it holds a charge for only about 2-3 hours (560 cycles, 3 years of use). I know the battery isn't suppose to be user replacable but it is pretty easy to remove yourself and I would rather save the money then getting it done at the Apple Store.

The only issue I have is finding an OEM battery. Does anyone know where I can buy an OEM battery from? There are some eBay postings claiming they are 100% OEM & New but I am not really too sure if it is legit or not. It seems like aftermarket batteries have an awful reputation and I don't want the battery blowing up or dying in a few weeks.

Thanks.

I have read that one of the best places to get a replacement from is OWC (macsales.com). Not cheap, but much less than one from Apple.
