Coop at Alcatel-Lucent

Interviewing for a Coop position with Alcatel-Lucent at Ottawa. Wondering if anybody here have had experience working there. What is the culture like? What is the work environment like? Are their salary competitive?

It will all depend on what you're doing.

I've never worked for them but we sub-contract quite a bit of work to them, running & terminating communications cables through the subway system, fibre runs up the CN tower, etc. I've worked with their employees during these projects and they're all pretty good guys. Complain a little about being worked hard to complete projects on time, but other than that they seem happy.
