I m planning a niagara fall trip on father day and is planning to dine at grand Buffet inside the casino. I got a 6mths old baby with me, will they allow me to dine there, since we have to walk thou the casino to get inside the restaurant. if not, I will have to look at somewhere else. any good buffets at the falls? some recommendation will be great. :)

I think u should be fine since you are not actually spending time in the gaming area, but the buffet may not be family friendly

No children in/through the casino. It's fairly firm. You could call them to ask if that includes babies. Even if they said yes, Im would bet it would be interpreted differently among the staff.

Ya think?
Geez honey, lets go drop a few at the tables. It's OK, we will just leave the kids in the car. Roll down the window a bit so they can breath (or, leave the car running so they don't freeze).
Parents of the Millenium alright.
OP, I think you had best call the Casino. I know the one here does not allow anyone under 18 into the buffet area. They have no kids chairs/seats, they have no kids changing facility etc etc.

The buffet inside the casino is not that good.
Plenty of great restaurants around the Falls that'll be happy to accommodate your child.

They are more relaxed about this in the US.

In the USA many casinos/hotel you must walk through the gambling area to get to the hotel lobby, thus they allow it. If a kid touches any of the machines they will run to the kid and tell them never to do that again.

See you'd think there aren't any parents out there that'd be stupid enough to do this, but in a small town casino I've had it happen on no less than TEN separate occasions over a 5 year period. I'm talking a casino that has a capacity of like 400, not like a mega casino.
Pets were worse. I'd see reports of pets in the car on a hot day at least a couple times a week.

About 7 years ago, we toured the Venetian in Macau. They don't allow kids into the casino itself either. How do I know? Because at each of the entrances to the main gaming floor, dozens and dozens of kids (unsupervised) were left to play by themselves while their parents danced with lady luck.

The buffet inside the casino is not that good.
I agree, but when its free it does the job!
The food reminds me of being on a all inclusive vacation...
BUT, the dessert is great!
I wouldnt pay to eat there.
Keep your kids away from the casino, even if they allow you in (which they wont) no one has patience for screaming/crying kids while/after loosing money.

Even if you are allowed, which I doubt, I don't think you would want you child in that environment. Better to go to a family friendly place, which there are a ton of!

+1... the casino is an adult environment. It's one of the few places people can still go and not have to deal with young kids.
