It's a good deal if you are looking to buy an Ultrabook type of laptop right now. For $699.99, this is pretty a good deal if need a laptop now.
My only concern is that when Windows 8 comes out in October 2012, more and more laptops will have touch screens in 2013. Those laptops will sell for atleast $1000 if you were willing to spend that much.

toshiba laptops have horrible keyboards
if you plan on using this as a work machine i would go for another brand

This is a really good deal. I bought this notebook for 999$ plus tax with i5 processor. I then moved to Hp folio which is not that great and I am missing my Toshiba. I am getting the toshiba again. Price is tempting. Let me wait for a new price drop which I hopefully would happen within this month...
