Costco in Heartland, Mississauga - n700 Logitech Speaker Lapdesk $35 Dollars

Long time lurker, first time poster. I did a quick search and didn't find this, so I figure I'll make a post. As the title says, this is the n700 Logitech Speaker Lapdesk http://www.logitech.com/en-gb/notebook-products/speakers/speaker-lapdesk-n700. Normally this retails for 69.99GBP on their website(which is roughly $110 CAN), but Costco has it for $34.99, with a $1.50 Eco Fee. There were 3 left the last time I checked.

If the 6 digit number beside the purchased item on my receipt is the SKU, then the number is 314174. I'll update this with a picture, and I'm not sure if this is found everywhere (I was at the winston churchill and dundas one in Mississauga and didn't see it, though I may have just missed it)

Edit: Here's a pic of the one on Highway 7 (Another RFD-er said the one I shopped at was sold out, so I'll just put the pic of the one that has it in stock). Sorry that it's blurry, my hands tend to be shaking a lot.

2 years ago I bought one of the non-speaker model at Costco, and have been waiting for them to carry it again since! Costco sells it at such a great price, and it is literally the best lapdesk I have ever used for my laptops!

As for everyone else wanting one - I just cleared out inventory at the Mavis location (they had 2 left), but if you are looking for a lap desk it is worth looking at other locations (or just calling them, which is what I did)

Picked up the lapdesk yesterday evening at Woodbine and 7 location. First impressions: The cooling isn't very powerful, but overall does improves the air ventilation and circulation. My laptop has poor heat dissipation to begin with, so there was a noticeable difference for me when playing D3... my left hand which is close to the laptop air vents was no longer sweating after 2 hours of play :P.

However, what came as a great surprise is the performance of the speakers. The sound coming out of these speakers are very very impressive considering the whole thing is powered only by USB.

Not sure if its worth the $70 MSRP, but definitely worth it for $40.

Went to Heartland location trying to locate the unit and couldn't find it. Just when I was going to give up I noticed a lady loudly expressing her happiness so I went to see and she grabbed the last 3 boxes! I asked if they had more in stock and they said no, it shows there are 4 in the store, 3 of them the lady took and the fourth was the display model and they will not be getting anymore. I asked if they would sell me the display model and a few mins later as he had to ask the manager, they said ok!

Was super happy as I got the absolute last unit for only $25!!!! :D I tested the unit at the store to check it works and same warranty applies to it.
