Cheap & efficient entertainment setup?

My PC died last month after getting some BSOD error, figure its time to get some other way to watch stuff
Looking for a small setup in bedroom I can watch downloaded movies with subtitles (Bluray quality) and stream content
Also something to store ~2TB of movies
Very unaware of TVs and ****, the only TV in my house is 15 years old....need suggestions on small HDTV and said device? Apple TV/Roku/WDTV? Good deals? :|

Import a Google TV. It has little functionality in Canada BUT it serves as a GREAT media player. For $100 you can't go wrong.

It literally plays anything.
