What is the name of those wooden high heel shoes that women love to wear?

Unless you're talking about wooden clogs, but they don't add height and I don't think women 'love' wearing these.

I think it is wedge shoes. But it is the same material and colour as the post above except for the huge platform.

They're called Espradrilles - the wedges with the wooden heel.

Actually, not to get technical, but espadrilles refers more to the material they are made out of and wedge is the style of the shoe, so they're actually called espadrille wedges. Espadrille wedges are actually covered in rope. The other picture that was posted actually looks like cork wedges, but it's hard to tell from the picture, could be wood as well. Wedges are actually quite comfortable despite how crazy they look. The wedge shape actually gives your foot a lot more support than say a stiletto. I can walk all day in them. I would not do the same in stilettos.
