It's like the new duct tape. So far I've fixed my car's exhaust, hot water tank after a small rupture in the inner venting cylinder (still going strong months later), and now the tube on my bike. From now on when something breaks I'm just gonna slap JB weld on it and call it a day. It's saved some money for sure.

In between 2 and 4 I suspect MacGyver conquered the world.

Yes I have heard this story and can confirm it's authenticity.

My brother took a rental car camping once, and gouged the oilpan on a rough road. Used JB to seal it up, put new oil back in, and returned the car at the end of the weekend. A total ***** move, but my brother is a deadbeat so I wouldn't expect much better. Yeah, JB is pretty impressive.

Lol zeitgeist. You really shouldn't let one misguided movie dictate your thinking to the degree it has.

I'm getting my engine block fixed on my car with this stuff. It's only a small crack but oil leaks onto the exhaust and it smells at times.

I personally find the stuff over rated, it has failed to glue / fix many things I have tried so far. I have had better luck with other A+B type epoxy glues however.

May be I should try a newer pkg or mix it more but I find when dried it isn't as "steel hard" as they say, too.

a-tree, it was congruous with my belief system and didnt really modify it. It introduced new ideas of how all of that nightmare could be abolished but the general tenets of the series were always in the Venus Project material and other earlier material I read.

I dictate my own thinking and if I'm agreeing with Peter Joseph and Jacque Fresco I am doing this because they are absolutely correct while people like you continue to be misled.
