How extreme have you gone?

Personally I browse all the buyer/seller by threads and posts, unless the said user has a large amount, then in which I look at threads only. There are also a lot of people who put their phone numbers, in which Google works wonders with. Facebook, LinkedIn, Last.fm, Google+, etc.

I always check their threads and posts. I was going to buy this phone from an rfder, and I checked his threads and found he was having issues with it. He said the phone worked perfectly in his bst thread.

So after that I always check now lol

Good move and will consider from now on.

I usually just check bst feedback.

In works in your favour though ... one time I bought a subwoofer from a guy who told me it was "barely used" and "all the levels were set properly" and the whole nine about how he loved the damn thing.
I find him on YouTube with a video blasting the ***** out of the sub ...

Questioned him about it, turned me off the equipment altogether because I thought he was a liar.
He dropped the price and I questioned him and got the answers I wanted (just a stupid video he put up) and I caved and bought it ...

But it helped in my buying decision! lol
