I am looking for a place in the Toronto area to order delicious party sandwiches from. I'm looking for a variety of deli sandwiches for a party of around 20 people.

What area in Toronto are you?
Select Sandwich is good.
Usually small Italian cafes that cater offer great sandwich trays.
If you are looking for those little pinwheel sandwiches, Loblaws and other grocery stores have them.

Costco does some excellent sandwich trays. They make them on croissants. If we're in a pinch we usually get them there.
My aunts ordered sandwich trays from a supermarket for a recent event (I can't remember which supermarket) and they were awful. The sandwiches were so dry (they were tuna, ham, roast beef) that I swear they were straight up meat on white and whole wheat bread. I didn't think mayo, butter, or even margerine was so precious.....

Select Sandwich is good, high quality, tasty but its expensive. About $8 per sandwich/wrap.

I'm located near the Roger's Centre.
I don't want to get sandwiches from a grocery store. I want to get gourmet sandwiches that taste great!
Looks like Select Sandwiches is being recommended a lot.

I love this place for catering! I have used them for a few events. Reasonably priced and very fresh!
They have a few locations, I go to the one downtown.
Highly recommended.

I wouldn't recommend Select Sandwiches. Their regular sandwiches are not much better than grocery store. It's ham, turkey, roast beef, chicken salad, egg salad or tuna with lettuce, tomato, cucumber and mayo... Served in random bread or wrap. This is the $7-8 option and the sandwiches won't fill up anyone.
You can opt for the higher end sandwiches or add cookie or fruit trays, but the bill will easily climb to $15-20 per person. it's actually cheaper to order Swiss Chalet delivery than Select Sandwich.

I don't know if you're specifically after deli sandwiches, but California Sandwiches does catering and stuff. I think you can even order it so that the sauce, meat, and bread all come separately and your friends can assemble the sandwich themselves.

since you are near the rogers centre, pumpernickels in the simcoe place building has a dedicated catering storefront separate from their food court location where you can go in for a consultation

Select Sandwiches are terrible and really over priced. If you want catered food look for an independent caterer, preferably someone with an actual Chef in the kitchen. Places like Select are cafeteria style, boring bland and over priced. Delis like Druxy's, Katz's etc are probably a safe bet if you don't have time to look around but I would suggest checking out reviews for non-chain caterers. Don't be dazzled by fancy pictures and wordy descriptions on company sites either, sometimes simpler is better.
