hybrid cars: are there any credits from government?

Just thinking of buying the gmc sierra hybrid.
Is the a credit/grant from the government for people who are buying these type of cars/tracks?

Electric cars only, though two plug in hybrids are included as well, the Chevy Volt and Fiskar Karma.

too little credits imo

they should waive tax as well, minimum of $20,000 credits so everyone can afford buying an electric

world will be greener, less dependence on oil, the middle east will lower gas prices

Besides the Volt that Coriolis recommends, any others besides the Tesla's that is worth looking into?
