Hello,

I am searching for a good German - English translation service in Toronto. I have a lot of certificates to translate like school documents, certificates of employment, certificates of internships etc.

Did someone know a good one?

Thank you.

You probably need it for employment. Therefore, you need them officially translated. Find someone certified to do it but it'll be more expensive.

Or I can do it for free but I'm not certified. ;)

For certified documents, this will be expensive. I got some translation done throufh language marketplace.

For non certified documents, go to www.fiverr.com

I bet there is a lot of German to English translation going on in Germany. Maybe it would be cheaper to have them translated in Germany?

Thank you so much for your replies :-)

I am going to apply for unpaid internships ... so do I need certified certificates even if I want to apply for interns?

When I applied to Germany, the company didn't need certified documents as the company was big enough to have in house specialists. If it's a smaller firm, they might want it officially translated.

Considering it is unpaid, I would imagine it's not so stringent. Though, the Germans really love documents...

Viel Glück.

In Germany it is a lot easier to know what they want and how they want

but here in Canada I am a little bit confused. I just moved last year here and slowly I am starting to apply for unpaid internships so that I can study later.

You know that in Germany many companies give people a chance to do an internships before they start with their study just to be sure if it is the ideal study for them

but here if I search for unpaid the most time they want someone who are already in their first year of study ....
