I found it early this morning on a sidewalk.

Parking Infraction Notice - City of Toronto

Either the owner of the car threw it away or it fell off the car.

If the latter is true, will you help me find him?

I see an Option (3) in the ticket and I'm resisting the temptation.

If the car owner knew he was wrong then he should just man up and accept responsibility by paying the ticket.

It's really not a big deal in the grand scheme of things.

Anyone?

Pretty sure you won't be able pull information out of license plate info. Otherwise I'd be pulling info out of douche bags who drives like one.

Anyone?

If you really want to find the person, even though a letter will get mailed out to the person, go to the MTO and ask for a Used Vihicle Buyers Package.. Maybe you can get their address that way ~$20 bucks (ticket is probably a $30 dollar ticket).

The letter will get sent after he's convicted in absentia, he could lose his license.

I will help this person.

I can't read the pic that clearly but doesn't it say "CT" under province? If so, it's probably somebody from Conneticut who just threw away the ticket.

If ON has reciprocal agreements with CT it will eventually come back to him/her.

It might be too late to follow this example, but this is what one should do when attempting to fight a parking ticket....

A parking ticket will give you 2 week due date (15 days), but you actually have 17 days. YOU NEED TO IGNORE IT ( you do not pay it, you do not request a trial, you do nothing - for now).

As per the Provincial Offences Act, s.18 (http://www.canlii.org/en/on/laws/stat/rso-1990-c-p33/1523/rso-1990-c-p33.html#BK25), they must send you a Notice of Impending Conviction (http://ticketcombat.com/parking/impendingconviction.gif) after 17 days has elapse but no more than 36 days. (no you are NOT convicted yet).

Not really. This is from djino's thread.

he will not lose the license because of a parking ticket. he will have to pay for it when he renews his sticker

if you want to help this person, fight the ticket for him :)

You're right, the province is CT. There's no expiry date, because perhaps they don't have those stickers in the US.

Plate Number: 883ZYC

So the guy simply dumped it on the sidewalk, what a pig.

Here's the license plate again:

Nissan / 883ZYC / Connecticut
