Think of this as a last-ditch resort for those of you who can't pull wire or get stable wireless. Don't count on this for HD streaming.

Haha, I PM'd ME for this when LD had them for $19.99, and ME had it for $99. Only had to pay A/V tax and shipping, which was like $13 in total.

Still hadn't gotten around to setting it up though, so i can't say anything about its performance.

If you buy 2 sets, can you have 3 outlets on the same network, i.e. 1 to connect the modem to a socket, and the other 3 to connect computers to sockets in different rooms? Or can only one pair work on the circuit at any time?

I read the info and I have no idea how to hook this up. I have a pc that is in a no wireless zone, why don't I just get a cable and go from the router directly to the pc instead of going through a turbo port?

Well if your PC is close to your router then obviously you should just connect your PC to the router. This is for instances where wireless is too weak and there is no router nearby, e.g. if you have your router in the basement and want to connect a computer on the 2nd floor. You connect one turbo box to your router, and plug it into a power socket, and then you connect the other turbo box to the computer you want to be connected, and plug it into a power socket there. Then both boxes will communicate with each other using your power lines.

Appears it's possible: http://stevedalal.blogspot.ca/2008/01/configuring-more-than-two-slinglink.html

Looks like $19.99 is the regular price now, saw it for $19.99 at Futureshop in store, couldn't find it at Futureshop.ca though.

This looks nice but it appears that I can't use this as all my outlets are taken by power strip surge protectors, which sucks!

Ohh, did not know, that would suck. Did not read the purchasing policy, but that would be strange as the transaction has already been submitted. Guess we'll see.
