2004 Toyota Tundra Limited

Hi guys,

I'm looking at buying a used truck shortly and found a 2004 Toyota Tundra Limited that looked pretty good.

Has anyone had any experience with a Tundra around this year? I am just wondering if there are specific items I should be concerned with that might require work?

if you're getting a tundra why not look for the newer models? they look way nicer

Thanks Dina_E. I did a google search and it appears that frame rust is definitely a concern. I'll be sure to point it out to my mechanic when he does his inspection.

I'm looking at a 2004 because I'm not willing to spend 40k+ on a vehicle that is mostly for entertainment (towing boat, camping, doing renos). I'd rather have someone else pay for the depreciation :)
