$5 seems decent. The regular price of $10.99 is just crazy.

They're so thin it's like eating a pancake.
Would much rather prefer the original dough and crust that made Pizza Hut famous.

I work at pizza hut and they use the exact same amount of dough as a personal pan pizza. They are 10" in diameter, paper thin crust and cut into four slices. Not the most filling thing as they are designed for "people on a date" at my boss says lol.

I kinda like thin crust .For $5 bucks it's not bad but wouldn't pay $10.99

Just got back from Pizza Hut with the family. Tried all four kinds. Actually enjoyed these thin crust pizzas. As mentioned earlier they are a good option for $5, but would never pay $10. Our server was excellent and made sure I tipped her on the before discount amount:)

I always thought the personal pizza's were $6+, this is nice info and a great alternative to slices at other places. Do you have to buy two at a time to make it $2.99 each?

Dine in only, because the first thing you'll do when you sit down is order a $3 glass of carbonated sugar water. Suddenly, your paper-thin plate of pizza is $8.

Nope, you can just buy one. I used to do this for lunch once a week.

$2.99 does not seem to work for me?!

I tried to place an online order at the Mississauga (Erin Mills), Downtown (Dundas & Jarvis), and Downtown (King & Bathhurst). The total was $10.98 for two, regardless of the 2 pizzas I chose - Veg, Supreme, or pepperoni. Is the $2.99 each for dine-in only?

$2.99 is certain locations. You could buy one or more, and it's still $2.99 each. At my local Pizza Hut in Ajax, I think they're $3.99. They used to be $2.99 last year here.

Dundas/Jarvis. $2.99 is for cheese only and toppings are $0.75 each. You can look at the prices online.

Right. Get seated by the hostess. She hands you a menu. When the waitress comes around you order this special. She serves it to you on a dinner plate and then you immediately say "I am ready to pay for this now and may I have this in a doggy bag please?"
She replies "Certainly, Mr. Corleone"...

The guy Pizza Hut I went to said that it wasn't available as it wasn't a "dine in location"

Did I just get bull$h!ted out of my pizza, or is this ONLY available at select locations ?

I was just trying to explain that Pizza Hut has made the offer dine-in only because they intend to up-sell drinks. One way to increase sales in the restaurant industry is to attract customers from other chains. In this case, they're aiming to grab customers from places like Wendy's and McDonalds who usually grab a cheap burger combo. The $5 offer gets people through the door, but most will opt to buy a drink and push the price to about $8 per head.

Well that sounds logical/reasonable.
If there is no dine-in area, it isn't a dine-in location, thus is not participating in this promo (which of course makes it only available at select locations).

Just checking the store locator, and there are only six locations in 416 that have dine-in, as opposed to 23 locations that are pick-up and delivery only.

When did this start to happen? I remember when there used to be dine-in locations all over the place!

The AYCE lunches at the Bloor & Avenue and Yonge & Carlton locations were like a staple when I was in uni.

Do not get this pizza, or at least the shrimp one. It was ok at the beginning but the tomato slice tasted so bad I had to spit it out. It could have been rotten.

actually, the reason is that the pizza's would be stone cold by the time they reach the customer because of how thin they are.

When does the deal end?? this actually sounds like a good deal. Do I also need to buy a drink with the pizza or anything or I can get just the pizza?? Is this at ANY pizza hut? Am I able to get only one pizza for $5, or as many as I want?

Thanks,

jordan

loybond

For $5, these aren't bad, but out of the 5 pizzas we ordered, 2 were the shrimp, and 1 of them had brownish tomatoes too. Apart from that, not so bad. Never could I imagine paying more for these though.

Jordan - No need for drinks, and you can order as many as you want. I can't see 1 filling a normal guy up.
