I want to transfer to Guelph or Brock university for Accounting. Which one is better in terms of the following:

- Employment rate
- More recruitment (Big 4 CA firms)
- Level of Difficulty of the Accounting program
- Diversity
- Campus life

Anyone studies or has studied at one of these universities

I got accepted to Guelph Accounting as a transfer student but if Brock accepted you for the BAcc program, take it. It's got co-op and is more reputable than Guelph's Accounting BComm. Diversity? No idea. Guelph is 99% white people, I don't know what St. Catherine is, wiki it. I would think Guelph takes the campus life criteria. Level of difficulty? Guelph is implementing all courses this and next year to become accredited for the CA designation; Brock is already certified. Open up each university website and look at the courses 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th year students take. I would probably choose Brock over Guelph just because of co-op.

Guelph is terrible for its commerce program. Both arent that great in terms of reputation for its business accounting program. However, if you got accepted to Brock's accounting WITH CO OP then go for that. They are known for their accounting program that offers co op.
Diversity? None in either campuses. Like Dankup has said, just mostly white people who party all night and heavy drinkers. Nothing wrong with that - just so you get a picture of what its like.
If you want diversity, go to Uoft (especially Scarborough- i go there and diversity is HUGE here; as well as Sauga campus. St george = mainly asian people), York (highly diverse), or Ryerson (mostly indians, blacks and asians --not much white people imo).

I visit all campuses atleast a month and this is what i see.

Waterloo BAFM does not accept transfer students (or EXTREMELY rarely).

Go Brock.

Just be prepared to work in Southern Ontario for co-op, not Toronto.
