PowerColor AX6570 1GBK3-H Radeon HD 6570 Video Card - 1GB, DDR3, PCI-Express 2.1 (x16), DVI, HDMI, VGA, DirectX 11, Single-Slot
Tiger Direct has this 1GB Single Slot DDR3 6570 for $38.97 No Rebate.
This would likely make a decent HTPC card, if you don't need absolute silence, with some moderate gaming potential. If possible PM locally to avoid shipping, or at NCIX for ISPU, or online and use the $10 Gift Card Free Shipping promo to get it shipped for net $0.

AX6570 @ $38.97 NR is a very good price, better than the other GT520 and GT430 deals IMO for better HTPC quality/performance.
For about 20% more (gaming) performance occasionally, you may like to get this one for $6 more...
PowerColor AX6670 1GBK3-H $44.97 NR:
http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=782588&CatId=7005
PM Possibility: NCIX has this on sale for $70.

Outstanding post! I would be shocked if NCIX was willing to PM this price.
There's a lot of video card posts right now, but I'd say this is the best of them all. No MIR FTW!

I've been looking for a cheap video card.
Can I use the HDMI connection to my television with audio and the DVI connection to my monitor? Or would I have to jump to another price range to accomplish this?
Thanks

Definitely you can use two monitors (TV, Monitor). Not sure if you want to use both at the same time? If so, certainly it will work, but having two separate sound sources running at the same time might be an issue, if your intention is to have the computer playing media on the TV and be running tasks on the monitor.

does anyone know if I could install this card in Dell Vostro 200 Mini tower?
the desktop is 3-4 years old but it has a PCI Express x16 slot which currently used by a Nvidia 7300gs
I am not sure if the slot is PCI Express version 2.1 .
Thanks

Sorry, what im wondering is if the HDMI cable also carries sound, so that when I output to my tv with the hdmi the sound will play through my tv speakers?

BTW the NCIX gift card free shipping offer mentioned in the OP is over. If anyone happened to get lucky and they approved a PM.
This card is still in stock.

Like Taft said yep.
I guess I really over complicated your question. I should probably cut back on the coffee.

You think this card would be able to run CS:GO??
Also will it work with a ASUSTek Computer INC. NODUSM3 (Socket AM2 ) motherboard??
I know, I need a desktop upgrade badly :(

Is that MB in a small form factor case? If so, I think you'll need a low profile card.

I thought that this was second to the silent HIS 6670 for $34 AR that went OOS in a short time on the weekend, but this 6570 is still in stock and not really getting much attention, go figure.

Sorry, if my comment was phrased a bit vaguely. The 6670 was at Tiger Direct also, but it went OOS after a few hours on Sat. When I said it's still in stock and not getting much attention I meant this 6570. Which IMO is the next best deal comparatively. Here's the thread if you care now that it's dead.
